The Bi-Colour balls are designed in order to better judge the rotation trajectory of a ball, they are great for learning and understanding the spin on the ball, for use in coaching and training sessions. Two colours of hemisphere are combined into one. While the table tennis ball is under the high speed-movement, it will cause visual changing, which would increase the judgement on rotation. BI-colour ball was jointly developed by the Chinese Table Tennis Association (C.T.T.A.) and Double Happiness. They selected ABS as the material.

These are a fine ball, as far as balls go. Only problem is judging spin based on white and orange is really not ideal. I, like others I've seen on YouTube, have added thick black texta (magic marker) which sees the black lines criss cross vertically and horizontally. Essential, I've drawn a horizontal line around their circumference, and a vertical line around their circumference. Then you can REALLY see the spin. Just put a podcast (or movie) on in the background, then sit down with a texta and mark them all - fun times. Time consuming, YES, but also extremely effective. Turns a useless ball into a perfect ball for spin judgement.

Pretty much identical to DHS D40+ one star. Except balls are white on one side and orange on the other. Very nice feature to practice serves as the different color sides are great at exposing spin for the naked untrained eye. Balls are quite hard and durability is superb if you ignore the imprint getting erased little by little. I always bring one or two of them to club for spin demonstrations to minors or simple reverse pendulum serve practice as I always had difficulty adding intense spin during this particular serve type.
