The Nittaku 3-Star Premium 40mm table tennis ball is the highest grade of Nittaku 3-Star balls. It is manufactured in Japan by Nittaku to higher specifications with higher quality material than any other ball. It stands in a classification of its own. Nittaku 3-Star Premium balls are more consistant in hardness and they last longer than any other ball in the world. Label on ball says "Premium 40, Made in Japan". The best ball in any dimension!

What an extraordinary table tennis ball...
After being a Double Fish fanboy for quite some time I've finally felt compelled (A few lemons) to go back to Nittaku.
Simply the best.

A Hard and fast ball but consistent.
Has an average life span.
Quite pricey in my country (note: I have used DHS, Double Fish, Butterfly and Andro balls). Was told one of the most expensive balls around but also one of the best to play with.
Nittaku 3-Star Premium 40mm
These are the preferred ball at my club, and I never understood why until I used these and then tried other cheaper brands. These have the most consistent play (along with the new Nexcel balls) and are worth the premium price if you are playing in a serious league. The only downside is how powdery they are.
