The L-3 is a great Aramide blade that has excellent control, feel and touch due to Paulownia Wood. It is a 7 ply blade with 2 Aramid layers. I would rate this blade as ALL+/OFF-. My is 82g and 6.2mm thick. The L-3 is one of the best composite blades from 729! Despite the fact it's a composite blade, it has very pleasant wooden feel, good flex and dwell time when power-loop from mid distance. As a result L-3 makes excellent spin!!! I was pleasantly SURPRISED how good L-3 FEELS and PERFORMS comparing to other popular carbon, ZLC, ALC blades on the market. The L-3 pares very well with classical chinese tacky rubber with hard sponge. I used 729-08 (H49) for FH side and 729 Higher (H42) for BH. This combination is very good for spin oriented players. Both FH and BH loops are loaded with spin!!! Also it is very comfortable to attack, block and even chop with mentioned rubbers. Overall, L-3 is high quality professional looping blade that costs only a fraction comparing to popular over rated brands. I highly recommend this blade. NOTE: seal this blade with one light coat of blade sealant to prevent wood from splintering when changing rubber.

I would categorize this blade as off+ than off++. Good blade for beginner player who would like to get more speed on their shot.
