Origin, water content, storage, processing method and many more aspects have big influence on a blade's playing characteristics. For the in Germany manufactured exclusive andro LIGNA series only the finest wood, which is also used for manufacturing violins, is processed. Particular attention is given to the sawing method of the wood veneers: Only the finest sawn veneers are processed for LIGNA woods. Major advantage is that this processing leaves no scar on the veneers behind. Consistently solid and clean cut veneers on both sides form the foundation for an outstanding feel. Wood in the way it should be.

My best blade so far. I have rasant beat on BH and powergrip on FH. Very linear power curve (many gears) excellent control. Higher throw than my carbon blades. Fast but not sure if off+. Good dwell, able to produce lots of spin. Good blocks and push. Can't compare to ther models in lineup but very happy with blade. Build quality is great should last a long time. No surprises if I'm position and swing it will do exactly as asked.

Got to try the Ligna OFF+ Blade. This is an allwood 5ply blade but the speed is like that of a Carbon blade. The dwell time is highest i feel. As my Forceful spin strokes were all in and hard for the opponent to return. This blade is constructed of Spruce wood as mentioned and it does leave an impact on the Smashing ability. Easy to block and amazing for Flicks.
