andro Wanokiwami REN – The first seven ply blade by andro made in Japan characterized by an excellent, artful finish. Moderate speed harmonizes perfectly with the comfortable feedback and provides a solid ground for a variable topspin style. Compared to common seven ply blades andro Wanokiwami REN is a real lightweight.
One week ago I started using Andro Wanokiwami Ren 81 grams, thank you to my wife and daughters for my birthday present. Previously I used DHS HL 5, I felt something in common but AWR was more obedient, for what I want, this blade will be able to do well. I paired DHS H3N Prov BS on FH and Rasanter V42 on BH to get a total weight of 170 grams. AWR is an extraordinary wooden craft without using composite materials. Spin, speed, control and shifting FH/BH are incredible, fantastic blocking, a deadly smash even if the ball's position is low, super fast blade that exceeds my collection of carbonado, DHS HL5, BTY Boll Tricarbon. Amazing topspin because of dwell and throw from this blade is really great. Almost no one blade can surpass IMO, I agree on revspin which put AWR in the top position. I praise and respect to Wanaka San for his outstanding work. Thank you Andro.
