Pattern of the wood grain, audio resonance and weight are the primary factors used to determine the various grades of a Kiso-Hinoki blade. The Excellent Grade is our top tier grade, with only 5 to 10% of Hinoki blades falling under this category. You'll be admiring each blade like a piece of artwork. They give you the utmost consistency when hitting the ball, explosive power during the contact, and a great overall feel during the match.

Have seen aand tried two of these, and they are not the same. One of them was a little harder, and was no fun. It is hard to do a 1-ply blade, but Hinoki works well. But the consistency of th wood used differ.
