The TriFlex Carbon represents the pinnacle of my balsa/carbon blade designs that began nearly 20-years ago with the ASTI CarboFlex. It features two types of carbon in three separate layers in a thin and incredibly powerful 7-ply blade. This is a true hitter's blade that will reward the aggressive player with unbelievable speed and accuracy when called upon, yet it's by no means an uncontrollable one-speed monster. Like the CarboFlex, the TriFlex has the same delicate touch for over the table play while delivering unprecedented power off the table. Put this way: If the CarboFlex has gears 1-4, the TriFlex has gears 2-6.

Initial club testing with the TriFlex Carbon had jaws dropping at the explosive speed generated from even small strokes. Testers on the receiving end saw the first couple of balls whiz past them before they had even begun to move their paddles, a phenomenon we eventually attributed to the TriFlex's unprecedented stroke-to-power ratio. It's like no blade you've ever picked up, and in my opinion it easily exceeds the performance of those $150 and up composite blades the large blade manufacturers are now offering.

Each blade is made to order with choice of head shape:

Attack II
Attack Junior
C-Pen Round
J-Pen Round
J-Pen Square

A variety of handle types and woods are also available. Weight can be dialed in to your request within the above stated range.

Charlie makes high quality blades but what makes buying from BBC nice is that u can get a blade made to match your requirements. My triflex is a skinny 5.8mm ,slight flex good looper . update: using the blade for over a year now some comments: My game is close to the table to mid: the blade is powerful but has excellent control: Loops BS or TS or counter spin great.. flat hitting and smash is excellent.. Power: The blade is powerful and as a consequence I have moved away from big hitting ESN rubbers as I don't need the extra bounce particularly close to the table. Currently using Gold ARC3 on my FH and Blitz on the BH. The blade gives you more options for rubbers in fact I use Palio 1997 on an identical blade for my robot practice and it works great, so the blade gives you some rubber options depending on your style.
