The balance between traditional defensive strokes and more forceful ones is an indispensable ingredient. This hi-tech carbon blade with a wider / larger head offers control, precision and power in reserve to manage demanding chop defence. Grovelling that extra ball back with control is easier due to the super sweet spot and superb touch. A highly popular choice!

This is a great blade for choppers . I used it with long pimple rubber ox on backhand and appreciated the enormous control of it. The blade is flexible and soft , the plate oversize ( L 16 cm - H 16,7 cm - thickness 5 mm - weight 90 gr.) . The two carbon plies are very thin . This blade is actually out of production and was made in Germany .

Chinese long pimples with a very thin sponge for the BH and sticky thin sponge Chinese rubbers (Friendship / DHS) for the FH are found to be the best for this blade. Very good blade. Excellent finish. It is a mystery as to why it is discontinued. Great for long range defense. Also OK for blocking at close to the table range. A rating of 80 % for generation of spin. This blade also works well with 1.2 mm sponge Tibhar Grass D'Techs. Andro rubbers were OK on the FH. Much superior to many other highly rated and highly priced defensive blades. Handicap: none. Not available at many stores. Should be reintroduced.
