The first Butterfly Carbon blade designed for the allround and or controlled offensive player. Tested by Andrzei Grubba, he says the Grubba Carbon is an allround blade with an enlarged sweet spot. Simply perfect, a totally new feeling.

Very fast hard blade. Great for top spin. Bad in receiving service.

Very good blade with huge control, suitable for anti spin rubbers. For forehand side you need to put o very fast rubber otherwise you do not have enough power to finish the point. Many gears , you can perform defensive and offensive strokes ,depends what rubbers you use.

Good Blade, very stiff, somewhat hard surface. The blade istself is very thin. Weight differs quite a bit, I've seen everything from 82g to a whooping 95g on this blade. A 82g example, of course, is rather ALL to ALL+ Speed, whereas the 95g Blade is rather OFF- to full OFF Speed. Anyways, the playing characteristics are nice, very direct and always predictable. Smash is easy, looping a little harder, block again easy. This blade mixes well with short pimples for aggressive, direct play.

Its a classic blade for ALL around topspin attack play just top of the range in carbon blades to its price If you compare it with T64FX 1.7 you can be a master of control close to the table play with the same set up 1.9 you can play away from the table and it got you enought speed to be a winner ( some may say T64 may be even to fast for this blade) if that's the case try it with Donic Acuda S3 BH 2.0 and you won't be dissapointed if you are looper, this blade does magic to new range of Tensor rubbers that were never on the market when Grubba carbon was invented. If you developing your game its a must try blade for all this who like control and BH/FH loop in mid distance. T80 on FH 1.9 is also a killer you can watch it on my youtube video finding under my user name. I'm not even a pro player but can recomend this blade to anyone who want's to move a game to next level with a limited budget.
