First review here as this blade needs to be experienced! Used with bluefire m2 on forehand and tibhar aurus sound on backhand and am more than impressed with the spin the blade generates. IMO better the my maze blade (really do prefer lighter set ups) and in all honesty an advantage lies in the ability to really load up the serves.
Often try other blades but certainly is my favourite at present. Certainly easy to use - very favourable comments when giving others a taste of what it offers. only negative remark is that some have said they prefer heavier blades. Well balanced, soft feel and amazingly spiny shots can be produced. Not a well known and used blade but For the money excellent value. Hit with innerforce alc and korbel recently and would still rank above these two blades in terms of overall feel and ability to play both consistenly and aggressively. I didn't realise a balsa blade would be my first pick. If you can get hold of one do try it out. It seems like a blade you can quite easily get used to. I bought the ver very comfy anatomic and have added some sports grip to slightly increase the weight which now feels perfect. Don't listen to those who say you need carbon or an all wood blade for looping. I have used a number of stiga all wood blades in the past and this is certainly my preferred choice. looking to perhaps try m2 also on the backhand as really impressed with what it offers on the forehand. Weight will never be an issue with this fantastic blade.
My spare blade weights only 145 gr. with Rhyzm (2.0-FH) and Cornilleau Target Sound (2.0-BH).
Good speed on FH and control on BH. Easy to block (and fun).
Good for fun and some training.
This blade is first of all extremly light, but i'm not surprised because it's balsa. It's not very fast but really nice in touch and control game. This blade, like all balsa blades reduces the sound from the rubber. So if you like rubbers with great sound you won't hear anything :)
I found this blade good for smashing. Very easy to do a good speed and placement smash. It's not OFF. More like all+/off-. Looping is good, everything is actully good with this blade, maybe a bit slow. For beeing a butterfly blade, i would say it's a cheap blade.
But it's a good allround blade and a bit offensive.
