The concept of this blade "large flexibility", which is one of the arylate (vectran fiber)'s characteristics, allows the ease of making powerful topspin loops at any distance.

During the late 1990s through about 2006 I was using Btty Arylate blades. First a set of Keyshots, then this blade then the Timo Spark. They all are very similar which is probably why bttfly recommended this as a replacement for the Keyshot and a spark as a replacement for this Biside. Of the three this was my "least favorite" but I still like it alot and use it for robot and training my students. The Spark and the KShot seemed a bit more comfortable but I cannot really explain why. This is a high control Off- (an 9 in my book) blade good for spinners and allround players such as me. Its fairly fast but like the Spark it isnt a linear progression (which is also true with some allround blades like my Applegren AllPlay that will really kick at a high speed swing) It is no longer available so its a moot point
