Senkoh-5, not to be confused with Cinco de Mayo; these well-balanced penhold blades are for explosive close-to-the-table, fast-attacking shots. Rounded head. Hinoki outer plies with Balsa center ply. 21-layer handle. Black backside.

Great blade. Using Sriver EL on forehand and Solcion on back hand. Have 2 distinctive gear. Slow for touch shot and slow spinny loop. Very fast when loop and flat hit. Traditional penhold punch block is also very fast and aggressive. RPB also very spinny and fast. Only thing not happy with this blade is the short blade lenght. Short blade lenght make it a little difficult to cover wide ball and some time cause ball to hit finger when executing rpb. Hope Butterfly will make a version of Senkoh with Senkoh 5 wood construction but with longer blade surface. Make it 2 sided out of the box will be great also.

One of the best penhold blades I have come across next to the Cypress-S. This is my backup blade with Sriver on both sides.
