The 4000 is the perfect combination of speed and control for the allround player. The outstanding control of the VSG Handle System will allow you to elevate the speed of your shots without loss of control. The lightest blade in the VSG series.

The secret of VSG blades lies in their unique handle construction. Our technical experts have inserted a carbon tube, along with two rubber dampeners, within a hollow handle. The result is a lightweight blade with great power and no vibration on off center shots. These blades simply come alive in your hand. Get you hands on one before your opponent does.

This is my first blade.I used Nittaku Narucriss GS Soft BH and Sriver G3 FX FH .Good to control and the speed that not too fast and too slow.I can top spin the ball full swing and it drop about the middle of the table you can push it to the end of the table. For BH it easy to flick and top spin in the table. This blade I think suit for All round player or Offense .Great to play every distance but for the long distance you have to use your power to push it.

This is the first decent blade i have played with, im still developing my game alot so im still using this blade. i have a tenergy 05 on my back hand, which is great for blocking and driving. and i have a roundell on my forehand, which offers really good spin. the blade is good for flicking and short to mid distance play. also very good for serving. as you get further away from the table the blade sacrifices power and spin for control. all in all a good all round blade!

Fast hard stiff. Good off the bounce play but blocking took some major adjusting to learn to do. Used with Sriver 2.1 and had very good speed and pretty good control.

Definitely for close to table power loopers that want control as they prepare their next power loop! This blade is light but head heavy, so it feel like it is heavier. If you have a good and most importantly a relax loop swing, it will have a great positive impact on your power without loosing control near the table (the heavy head improve your arm speed when going for power). What is nice is that you feel that the power comes from your arm instead of relying in the blade pure speed. It is also great at off the bounce looping; thanks again for the heavy head. I would not recommand for blockers & defensive players because of the higher sweet spot center (due to weight shift). For that reason too, I would not recommand this blade for players in their development phase. After a year of using it, I feel it is a great replacement of my beloved 12 years old Primorac...

This blade does provide more speed with good control. Hard feel, good for allround play close and mid distance from table. This blade players either love it or hate it. Light, best match with harder sponge rubbers. Better for hitters than loopers due to hard feel. All handle styles are too small.
