The X-Star blade is for high control close-to-the-table play. A good choice for a player's first professional racket. Also a good choice for a player's second professional racket.

It's one of my favorites because it has a solid wood feel, and little if no vibration, due to its Bass wood component. Can you find a blade of the same attractive price without vibration? It weights 91g, according to manufacturer's specification, but feels a bit heavy if you are used to blades 10g or more lighter. The wood on the handle smells muddy. Use wood cleaner several times and it's gone. Overall, it's a good blade for close to the table players who enjoy placing the ball with control.

Old design basswood blade like the BTY Kenny Pro. Good for close to table allround play. Plays faster than manufacturers claim. Can be heavy with 2.0-2.5 rubbers. Works well for block, counter, looping close to table. This is the only blade now offered in the ALL class by Butterfly.
