As the very first blade I decided to use, for the main reason I was looking for a Hinoki blade, I can honestly admit this one felt really good. Quality is very good. A definite upgrade from a $30 Swiftlyte. It was faster - how much faster I can't tell but I know on my serves it didn't feel like I was watching the ball "slow-mo." If the blade had good "flex" I can say yes because it made it easier for me to "feel" the ball when I return (at that time I didn't think I knew how to loop properly) Of course, I still have no clue if this is what's meant by "vibration" or if that's what made your hand feel tired and/or numb after hitting the ball a lot. I never got that from using this blade. I ended up having 729 Cream Transcend Rubber on the FH getting good spins and 804 Anti-spin on the BH (More on those later) Overall - I liked how I got to play with it. Eventually after trying out other Hinoki blades I had to let this go as the head shape was totally off from my other blades and I would have been unable to fit other rubbers on without sanding it down.

This is a pretty fast blade, very flexy, and with a lot of vibration. I personally don't like the vibrations, but if I did I probably would be using it. You can load up your loops pretty good with this.

I found this blade (used the penhold model) fairly soft due to the hinoki and with not that much vibration. Seemed good for a loop attacker using hard sponge Chinese tacky inverted, not so good for a short pips player as not that hard. Very combfortable handle, but could use a longer head.
