Spruce Pressing Technology (SPT) "Made in Germany" Our finest quality, produced by top craftsman in honour of the Swedish legends. Top workmanship, made in Germany. The new World Champion 89 blade series is exceptional. It celebrates the 25th anniversary of Sweden winning the World Championships Team title in Dortmund in 1989 (in a historic 5-0 final win against China). DONIC is exclusively producing three new blades in Germany, in honour of the legends Jan-Ove Waldner, Jörgen Persson und Mikael Appelgren. Hand crafted and employing the most modern precision and technical know-how, in acknowledgement of the supreme mastery with which the Swedish Superstars played. All three models have incorporated an Italian Spruce ply which is over 200 years old. This is combined with a 3mm strong centre veneer of Kiri and for the Appelgren All+ model, Ayous combined with a new Carbonfleece Zylong webbing (CF2), exclusive for DONIC. Only the finest saw plies of our own production are being used. These are more stable than the usual knife plies and are a guarantee that the blade retains its playing characteristics without the normal deterioration. A specially developed drying procedure reduces the moisture content of all three types of blade from 12 to 16% to only 4%, resulting in a stable and light blade (Waldner and Persson blades weighing approx. 85g and the Appelgren All+ blade only 80g approx.) Each individual blade is subjected to a special cold press for 24 hours. The employment of our unique 3D-technology and the most recent bio technology ensures that the handle is in perfect shape. The fastest of the new blades. For players requiring a harder blade with basic high speed.

First impression using this blade is very powerful, with its dwell time is good enough to make the ball more rotating with a little friction, I use the Dhs Hurricane 8 in forehand and Stiga Genesis S in the backhand, with the handle ST makes me easy to backhand flick on the table, highly recommended for players Which is fast and aggressive.. i like this blade..

Powerful blade is well balanced and has good control and offers speed that you can accelerate. Big sweet spot with unique sound. Very impressive when blocking. Matches up well with soft and light rubbers like the Formula Donic Big Slam versions. I use the Desto F3 BS both sides. Total weight of blade and rubber is 180 grams which is a good weight for me. Ball placement is easy and the sound is unbelievable with this combination. The Waldner World Champion '89 blade has better control because of the placement of the carbonfleece-zylon next to the center ply and also seems a tad faster than the Persson blade but both blades are of quality.

Fantastic blade! I was using a Waldner Dicon with Bluefire M2 (FH) and Bluefire M3 (BH) and this was a great change. I just changed the rubbers from the old blade to the new one and suddenly I was able to do things I never did before, with great control, placement and a soft-touch feeling I never felt before. I felt like... Waldner! when throwing some tricky shots it was like I thought of what to do and where to put the ball and it went exactly to the target...

Fast blade, powerful with good control, better with softer rubber like donic m2.Tried h3neo, you can simply loop anything, but not as fast as m2 or s1turbo, the problem with s1turbo is lack of control.
