A good 5-ply blade for an active defense style (with forehand attack), or a combination player with backhand blocking and forehand attack. It is a balsa blade, so it has a very light weight.

my review is on kris special...its simply amazing for long pimples, for forehand u must use a semi soft medium, i use donic ms pro soft, this blade will make me over 2200 guaranteed, if you are a quick attacker and like to control with pimples this is ur blade, mid distance is ok but is not its forte, play close to the table topspin and smash is where this blade shines...is light but for us quick hitter is what we want..defenetly not for a looper even tho my first ball attack is great...blcoking is good not great but good..the head is kinda small for blocking but if you practice your blcoking it can be really good...great blade for the price....i use kris special with dragon talon special and donic ms pro soft is an amazing rubber...i was 1900 before i played 2 2200s two days ago and it was 3-2 and 3-1, they were surprise...i just wish it had a bigger head...i also beat 1900s 3-0 one of them i beat 11-1....i hope this helps...

I use this blade and its too light. with T05 FX and Talon OX on it its 140g. I got the heaviest blade in the box of the dealer. Try the Kris Special. Its heavier and more consistant. A tad less speed of off. but more control on offense side

speed is 8 one side, 6 the other. Excellent control with short game and drives, loops, but better at close to table play. Never played with blade, tai chi hard 2.2 and talon ox before, but won all ten matches in 2 sessions, c 2 of the opponents over 1800.
