I play with mid pips (Armstrong Attack 8 1,2 mm) FH and long pips (National Pogo 1,2 mm) BH and this blade supports me in almost any critical situation near the table and off the table in mid distance. I prefer a kind of counter-attacking style (shakehand) but nevertheless e.g. I'm on guard not to get caught into a service-trap done by short, spinny services. Definitely at this point the touch and control of the blade is key and I'm highly satisfied ! I would absolutely recommend the blade in cases of an active playing style forward , rating the defensive abilities I would be careful as the speed of the blade is imho not to be qualified as slow.

Update: I like the light weight, great control, touch, spin of this blade. In terms of speed, it's not slow at all - it's on par with my Butterfly Primo Vitesse, which is also a fast all round blade. Rating the speed as 10, control as 8.6 to offset the other people's ratings so that it looks more accurate.

I can't stress enough how good this blade is. It's really unbelievable for the price. Of all the Cpens I've tried, this one for sure allows me to hit with the most spin. The All+ rating is accurate and is very controlled. I've tried this blade with inverted, short pips. Honestly it does everything well. The only area where this blade doesn't excel is the speed. It's just average. But I think that's why this blade is so good in the other ares. spin, touch, control. If I wasn't playing a short pip, speed game, I would absolutely play this blade regularly with inverted.
