Very slow and flexible blade, is like hitting with a towel

I have been poisoned writing these reviews... this was a blade I got in 2009 so I have tried on/off for a while, it is a considered a high flex blade which means that it is difficult to control but it can block hard shots and at the same time it can generate deceptive speed and spin.

C-O-N-T-R-O-L For me it's great for chopping near or away from the table. Really SLOW compared to Defplay Senso. I have it with Globe 999 1.5 and Neptune 0.7. Classical Defence.

I concur with the sentiment that this blade has too much spring in it. Ironically, this makes the blade loop very well -- nice tight arc and spinny. The only way I could imagine the springiness being contained is by putting two 2mm inverted rubbers on both sides. I tried friendship 729 FX and LKT tackiness both in 2mm. Even though they were 2mm, both rubbers are slow enough for chopping, especially on this blade. With OX on the back though, chops were hard control because of the springiness. Don't even think about using 1mm inverted rubber on this. I tried it with gambler reflectoid in 1 mm + ox and it was a disaster. Rubber bottoms out, the blade springs, and the ball flies off the table. As long as you have rubbers that can dampen the springiness, this should be an okay blade.
