TSP Gaia

I'm an intermediate player, been playing with that one for almost a year, and after just 2 sessions... I've bought the 2nd one, becouse I hope I'll never have to change it. It's OFF-- lots of feeling, so it has a great control, no doubt with pack of power but, let's say, without steroids. It's very honest blade, and as mantioned above: every shot is possible with well paired rubbers. For a long time I was searching for some suitable ones, and Nittaku Factive on BH and Andro Hexer SFX on FH it's exectly what I was looking for - just pure pleasure to play and focus on a chance to a kick-shot. I've only put some tape on the handle to change weight balance, to take it all more to the elbow side - have some problems with my wrist after an accident, but this simple action deleted the pain in full. A little minus: I think that with blades containing limba it's a bit easier to generate spin, but on the other hand here with koto You have an opportunity for such great smashes in short game - fast and direct. I read that koto-ayous-kiri-ayous-koto blades are the hard ones... I'm suprised. It does not feel hard for me, comparing for example to Donic Persson Powerplay (defenetly harder and faster but without any feeling). I'll say it's medium, with perticible flex, but again no sleepy AT ALL. For more playing in mid / far distance there's a need for some more strength and technic, but also possible and efective. Ball flight parabola is low, bit flat which for me is one of the pros. Weight of my blade (1st and 2nd one) is 82 grams, so with Factive and Hexer SFX and the tape on handle weight's in full 169 grams - fine and comfortable. All in all - I know it's not that easy to find Gaia I, but it's worth the price and time for searching.

Amazing blade, discountined, holy grail

Great blabe for allround-attacking game. every shot is possible: fast topspins, slow spinny topspins, blocks, very good in short short game. A blade for every attacker who is looking for a blade without any weakness. great straight handle and absolutely well balanced. very good craftmenship is also one of its pros. only thing as a little con is the sweet-spot, which isnt as big as on carbon-blades. but non the less the sweet spot is big for a 5 ply blade without artificial fibre. speed is near to a timo boll spirit but it is more consistent and "honest" because of its 5ply construction. also a big pro is the weight which is about 80-85g.
