Modern defenders like the great Japanese talent, Yuto Muramatsu, will take every opportunity to launch sudden counter-attacks from a safe defensive position. The Koji Matsushita Offensive is the ideal blade for this type of players who rely on excellent control for defensive playing, but need good speed for their own attacking. The 5-ply design with a slightly harder outer mahogany ply provides for outstanding power second-to-none in the defensive blade segment, and gives any defender all the precision and control they need for passive playing. All blades of the VICTAS Koji Matsushita series are hand-made in our Japanese blade workshop.
This blade is really nice for modern defenders who are looking for a blade that can do everything a chopper needs while having the speed of an offensive blade for strong attacking. It's like a JSH blade but lighter, the slightest bit less stiff, a bit (but barely) smaller, thinner (and in my opinion more comfortable) handle, and it has a really nice build quality. Like, REALLY nice. And it's slightly cheaper than the JSH too. I'm using this beast with a sheet of Mark V GPS on my FH and SuperSpinPips Chop 2 on my BH, and it's really good; since this blade has hard outer veneers and it's stiff, I would recommend pairing it with rubbers that are relatively soft (but not too soft; otherwise, the sponge will bottom out). If you're a beginner to table tennis though, I would NOT recommend this blade; I would recommend something else, like the Donic Defplay Senso or the normal Victas Koji Matsushita blade. I say this from personal experience.
Fast defensive blade (Off-) in the same speed category as Butterfly Joo SaeHyuk and Defence II/III/IV. The head of the blade is a little smaller than the above mentioned ones (i.e. 155 x 164 compared to 156 x 165) and also the weight is a little lower (ranging from 86-92g). It is not suited for players who want to play a 'disturbing' game with OX-pimples. It is designed for those players who combine chopping with strong FH-topspin attacks. Feeling is rather hard and stiff. If you prefer softer, flexier and slower (All/All+), go for the regular Victas Koji Matsushita blade. Both are high-quality blades.
This Blade is Magic! Tried so much. Always coming Back to This Wood. As an Offensiv Allround Player you can hit Top Spin Easy. Compare Good with : Rasanter R48 / Hybridk MK / Hybrid MK PRO.
Weight is a litte bit the Problem . But no one antoher Wood is so GOOD!
Great blade for modern defence!
Excellent for powerfull loop game and chop.
This blade is fast, stiff and has great control.
No vibration with solid feel. VKM Offensive excellent choice for confident attack.
Of all the def blades I tested, this is definitely the best for my game, a great speed, with a light weight and a phenomenal control let me say that this blade is much better than bty joo saehyuk and bty diode v, because its set of weight, speed and control make the chops faster and more precise, letting me go without fear on the balls, besides allowing me to attack in an extremely relaxed and easy way, I am using this wood with a bty Tackiness Chop on the fh and a TSP CURL P1-R on the bh if you are a new defensive style player I say with all certainty that it is one of the best blades you will use
