Yasaka DYNAMIX 17 is a state of the art product.
A never seen before 17 extremely thin layers of wood plies, yet it comes in at a low weight of only 90 gram. Another powerful weapon you can depend on.

A technical wonder. Great feeling, very good speed. Played with it for 2 years, now i play Rosewood.

Like this blade for its stiffness + hardness. Asked for the lightest blade from tt11 but still weigh in at 96gr.

I bought a Dynamix 17 with AN handle weighing 93g. It was the lightest available at TT11. I expected a super stiff and super fast blade like BTY Iolite, which I like so much, but to my surprise Dynamix has some flex, is only medium fast, and has tons of control. Easy to block and place the ball with accuracy. Another good thing about this blade is its gears, I can play a very controlled game but when swing hard the speed is always there. Certainly it has to do with the 17 layers. I´m using 2 tension rubbers, Fastarc G1 and Rakza 7 but I suppose chinese rubbers like H3N will make a perfect combination with Dynamix.

(Jan. 2014) Excellent anatomical handle, reasonable weight (~90 g), not perfectly polished (many low cost chinese blades have better finishing than Dyn 17). I am using it for only 4-5 hours, with Xiom Vega Europe MAX and Xiom Omega IV Pro MAX, but already got an idea about the beast :-) Impressions: very good blocking, good+ control (despite the low control rating usually given to this blade alone, the Xiom rubbers are very good WRT control), its an Off (not Off+) grade IMHO, very good at playing at >1m from the table, not a very high throw (also due in part to Xiom rubbers) what makes a bit difficult topspinning chopped balls, namely in the first attack. Overall, a very good blade (but not an astonishing one...). Bought in a sale at around 50$, so its a steal :-)

UPDATE (May 2015): more than 1 year after the first review (which I leave unchanged) , I have a couple more notes. I use the blade sometimes when I want to produce power game, but its not my prime choice. The throw angle is quite more higher than I said in the first review (rubbers are older and more beaten now) which means the problem with this assembly is controlling the FH with Omega IV Pro near the table -- I always have to restrain power and amplitude of arm movement in order to land the ball on the table. On the other hand, it is excellent for attacking away from the table. BH top spin with Vega Euro is a very good attacking weapon. As the rubbers are a bit bouncy, underspin shots and pushes have to be taken "with care". Overall I almost keep my ratings (I added 0.1 to overall and 0.5 to control). Dyn 17 is a blade from which its is very easy to extract power game. To tame it in FH, I dare to suggest the use of a softer rubber (Soft, or FX or SF versions of some popular rubbers) instead of the Xiom Omega IV Pro max.
