Carbon (Blade)

Carbon plies are used in some blades to increase the speed of the racket, without increasing the weight. Carbon generally makes a blade stiffer, and enlarges the sweet spot. Despite these benefits, many players (including some top professionals) prefer wood blades. Also, some carbon blades are not fast.
