Friendship/729 799 Mystery

This rubber is my backhand for more than 2 years (1.8mm mystery red).I play a close to the table hitting game mixed with chop and block .If your looking for a do it all old school raw pips , this rubber is made for you .If you need an euro type fast pips like tango or radical your looking at the wrong rubber . You can do anything chop , block , hit ,serve return , produce dead ball and loop with a full stroke (the ball sink into the rubber ).This rubber is not spin sensitive but it's not good for spin reversal .Blocking is tricky against heavy and hard top spin , you have to close the bat angle .You can play cat and mouse style but you need a strong forehand to back it up . I try many rubbers and i still come back to this one .Remember no rubber is perfect and 799 is no exeption .
