I realy love this rubber have been playing with it for 2 months now and I am pleased that I have a cheap alternative to the expensive neubaur rubbers.
If you hit the ball off the bounce it realy produces a wobble that unsettles the opponent.
Well what can I say.. Two years on and I'm still playing with this great rubber. Since I've been playing more tournaments and competitions in the UK I have found a lot of people coming up to me asking "what the hell is that stuff" referring to my pimple rubbers. I always carry a few spares in my bag and invariably after a short chat they have a sheet off me. A few Dtecs users changed over to Dawei after seeing me play so well with them.
After 6 months or so I change the rubber as it tends to get too slippy for me and I do prefer to drive the ball with my pimples on my F/H creating the greatest wobble balls ever. I love it when I play young superstars and the look of horror when I do that shot.
Good at chopping away from the table but note two shots should be mainly used otherwise the opponent will cream it.. First one I use is the straight down chop, bat near vertical taken near or just after the top of the bounce produces a wicked back spin and if opponent not vigilant will go into the net. The other a very late chop as low as possible to the floor will stop most attackers dominating and creates concern on their part in how to finish the point off.
Please note though if you return it anywhere other than near the base line or very short then the effect may not be as unsettling.
Why pay more for rubbers that aren't as good.
I use 0.5mm sponge which gives me the best of both worlds, attack and defence.
Use glue sheets with OX as standard and with sponge use the glue sheets to slow the rubber down if you need to.
Close to the table shots are brill with angled blocks a speciality catching opponents flat footed.
Counter hit "flat hits" are mainly outright winners, or if not there and then, set you up for the next.

"I played for about 2 months with it. Among other that I tried I fell that it is the one so far that gave control, variety of shot, agressiveness and suit my offensive style. I can hit my bh like an inverted rubber with goof control. "
(way more better that tsp p1r)
tsp not have the abbility to manipulate spin, it has. and this give same backspin when you chop
i played 6years with tsp p1r (1mm)
and this dawei long pimple wayyyyy better, i can attack all of my opponent serve with good speed and control and its 6g less (cut) that the tsp
(my bat always have weight issue, now its gone thanks to this dream lp

With practice, good attack, block, pushing, chop and ok for smashing. Low price, last 6 mos w/o a broken pip

Very good pip. Perfect for changing pace. Good reversal, worse than d.tecs but still good. For some reason my opponents claim they have more problems with this rubber than with d.tecs. Definitely more control than d.tecs. Good stuff!
