These pips fly under the radar, but they are an excellent alternative for passive pips blocking with the ABS ball. The spin reversal as good as any I've seen in the ABS-ball era, and the balls stays low. It's also good for chop-blocking or mid-distance chopping. The rubber dampens the pace very well with passive contact but becomes decently speedy when you're playing actively or attacking. It's not spin-sensitive, which is good, but the lack of grip also means that when you're attacking, you should try to hit more than grazing. Also, the soft, widely spaced and long pips create lots of funky effects.
