This is an awesome long pips rubber. I first played a year with 0.5 mm on backhand (classic chopping defense). Very easy to receive serves, good deception and a lot of control. This year I switched to 1.0 mm thickness and my level has improved even further. It is not the most deceptive rubber but provides a huge amount of control coupled with the potential for very heavy underspin when chopping. Consistency is key and allows you to win matches with this rubber, even at a high level. You can let your opponent make a lot of 'unforced' errors by varying the spin. When pushing back a chopped ball from the opponent, they often miscalculate and spin the subsequent ball over the table. It is also a very capable rubber for attacking shots, which you can vary between 'standard' shots which strongly resemble inverted rubbers or tricky shots with some apparent underspin or no spin.
