AGGRESSOR is a completely new pimple-out development.
Its outstanding playing characteristics are predominantly based on 2 particularities:
To start with AGGRESSOR comes with a completely new pimple geometry. The pimples are just as long as those of long pimple rubbers thus producing considerable disruptive effect while blocking, counter-attacking and straight hitting. At the same time the ball is being "slowed down" for all passive strokes.
This comes in very handy for blocking but also for service returning.
Its second distinctive feature is the rubber formula used. It is similar to the one used for our short pimple rubbers KILLER and KILLER PRO however we have slightly altered it to fit the requirements of longer pimples.
This results in a rubber that is easy to control and producing good disruptive effect throughout the game. Also it can be used for a variety of attacking shots such as counter-attacking, lifting and straight hitting.
AGGRESSOR: The new disruptive pimple-out alternative
With plastic ball is this rubber imho very good solution - good disruptive effect and control , attask abbilities ,active blocks and passive blocks too. Recomended for active play. I was player with long pips near the table , from both sides atacking game. My version is 1,8mm sponge.
This rubber requires a high level of precision and technique, especially when paired with an OFF+ blade. I bought the 1.3 mm version because I use a fast blade (XIOM AJH TMXi Pro), but honestly, I haven’t found it to be a great combination for an offensive blade. The balls are difficult to control, especially when chopping, which is almost impossible close to the table.
Serve receive and counters/blocks against topspin are very good and disruptive, but they still require extremely accurate paddle angles and timing.
Personally, I wanted to try this rubber to help cover my BH weak point, but I feel like getting used to medium pips takes a lot of effort. Playing with this is very different from using either short or long pips. On the other hand, I really like my FH setup, so I don’t want to switch to a slower/softer blade just to make this work on my BH at the expense of my FH performance.
I think I’m going back to regular rubber on my BH and, instead of constantly trying different rubbers, just focus on improving my BH through practice :))
Very good pimple to attack and to defend.. it’s easy to control.. you can defend with it far and near to the table but it’s better for aggressive players!
