New rubber VIPER is a major step forward for all long pimple players blocking close to the table. Its completely new rubber formula provides very good control so that even fast topspin shots can be handled quite easily. Its pimples are soft and help dampening the speed of the ball. However the main characteristic of this long pimple rubber is the low bounce it produces while blocking. Both passive blocking and chop-blocking provide a disruptive effect that will cause problems to your opponent. This makes VIPER a highly interesting development in the field of long pimple rubbers with friction. All standard attacking techniques with long pimples can be performed quite easily.

i have been playing the Viper OX since its release by now. Before i have been playing with Bomb Talent and D.TecS, so i will compare it to those. In terms of controll the Viper is superior to both of them, it doesnt get affected by spin like the Bomb and it is very easy to chop, block and counterattack with the Viper. It might not have such a strong decetion as the Tibhar D.TecS but it definitly is close to it. Playing with the Viper has changed my style of playing as pure chop-blocker at the table to an allround long pips player that chops, loops smashes with his pimples. Lifting backspin is very easy and effectiv due to the speed of the pips. I'll be useing the rubber in this season, so far i havent lost any match even to players i have lost to last year. Guess that is because of the more given safety and variability with the Viper. I'd recommend this rubber to anyone that would like to become more versatile or plays the D.TecS and wants to improve his control without haveing a big loss of deception and spin reversal on chops.

I am using ox red on blade BTY power defence( hard and stiff def blade) - great control , easy to atack, easy to chop away from the table, good spin reversal also i can easy atack no spin balls. I tried before tsp culr p1r (0X) and fient soft sponge 1.1. and Viper is more distributive, bether control than p1r, and slower than p1. Comparing to fient soft is more spin revelsal and lower angle when ball go to another side after topsin.
