JOOLA Tango Ultra

I have used this rubber for about one month on the forehand side of a balsa-core penhold racket. My overall impression is that it would work better as a shakehander's backhand rubber. In that respect, it reminds me of Victas VO>103. As advertised, it's great for passive blocking and when your timing is good, you can produce a good knuckle ball. Although the spin variation is decent, initiating an attack is difficult and counterhitting your opponent's loops feels uncomfortable, probably because the sponge is so soft. Flicks and pushes are pretty good, so if you play most of your shots over the table, it can work well.

Very fast attacking counter hitting short pimples. I had them on the BH of a Yinhe T-4 Off+ blade. Flat hitting had was very hard to return IF the ball hits your opponents side. Very hard to chop with to as the sponge is Tensioned. Played with it for one season, still have the rubber, it is still in very good condition. Durability 10/10.
