New long pimpled rubber ( October 2012) which is a further development of Dornenglanz. The same very high disruptive effect but more slow and even better control. Very good for block close to the table and for chops from mid distance. Soft elastic pimples. Not ribbed pimple surface but very grippy as Dornenglanz.
Verry good on classic defence blade like Tibhar cos 3 which have soft touch.Strong spin reversal and verry good deception after chop away from table. On faster blade(def+,all-)like Palio chop.no 1 you must correct blade angle, but it is simplier to attack opponnent backspin or strong undercut. The best long pips I tried. And durability is ok.Better works for every shot when gluing(water base)2-3 layers on rubber,1 layer on blade, than wait abbout 10 min and glue it on.Also it is not expensive like some long pips.
Played (not in competition) with Superblock for a while and wondered if there was any legal rubber out there that at least had the same consistency and control.
Blitzschlag has the same consistency and control. Reversal is also immense, just slightly less than SB. Ofcourse it has less deception but it's overall a fantastic rubber for defending close to the table, both block and chop-block. You can even chop farther back without a problem.
And unlike SB I can also attack with Blitzschlag. Plus it's legal!! Overall this will be my new league rubber for now instead of D-Tecs (too hard to control compared to this). I'd recomment this rubber to all ex-SB / Hallmark users
I've used many lp before. Including boosted lp, means the lp boasted become very soft, of course it's illegal, but just for fun play in the club. Then I play with this, its very nice lp. Superb for block close the table, easy to push the backspin ball from opponent and quite disturbing. I think its the best lp I've used so far.
