Great short pip with excellent speed. It is very playable as long as you're controlling the play. Stay in charge of the placement of the ball and kill it with deadly counter shots. Also excels at blocking the ball.

Excellent rubber. Its modern short pip with quite a good spin and great speed. Can be used for FH or BH. I used it on FH but I wasn't so consistent (probably of my technique) but didn't want to give up and tried it on FH. On begining, it was feeling so fast for BH but after 2-3 sessions i got used to it and now (after 1month) I even think on moving to waran 2 for more speed.

My first SP experiment. Not a big difference to inverted, only needs more open angle and hitting into sponge.
Spin is somewhat high when hitting through the hard topsheet and deep into the sponge, or when strongly chopping the ball with the topsheet. Quite versatile, decent control.

Acquired a Spinlord Waran in 2.0mm. First things first: this rubber is fast. Not crazy fast as Yasaka Rakza PO, but still pretty fast. You can feel the tension within the sponge. When hit hard it produces an amazing sound. Plus, it´s easy to active block with Waran, although passive play is not so good. It´s sensitive to spin so receiving serves requires a good technique. For less than half the price of short pips such as Rakza PO or Spinpips Red it definitely worth a try.

Coming from an Adidas P7 on my FH and long pips on my BH with a modern defender playing style I decided to stay closer to the table and play more aggressive. To be more insensitive to incoming spin I decided to use the Waran 2,0 on my FH and it didn't disappoint. I can play it like an inverted rubber and the control is great. Also the rally ending shot is fantastic. Added bonus is the fact that it is way lighter than my P7. The spin is less than the P7 of course, but overall I'm very satisfied. I'll try to update this in 3 months
