The new Pro version of SpinLord Star's End is not a completely new rubber, but a slightly improved version of the popular SpinLord Star's End.

The old version of the Stenenfall will be phased out in the medium term, this version will then be the only version offered.

The knob heads are of course ribbed as before. The arrangement of the knobs (extremely far apart) is also unchanged.

The rubber compound is basically the same as before, but it is designed a little harder (so overall quite hard). In addition, the rubber floor is a bit thinner.

Overall, this results in a slightly higher disruptive effect with the same control and a slightly higher speed. The Starfall Pro is also a little less sensitive to incoming rotation.

The Starfall Pro has linear ball acceleration; So neither a "bouncy ball effect" nor a strong dampening of passive hits. Thus, the disruptive effect of this rubber is mainly caused by the buckling of the pimples.

Players who have previously played Star's End will be able to play Star's End Pro without conversion. This rubber should also be easy to master for all other players.

Of course, the shine of thorns is still unmatched in passive block balls. The Starfall Pro is controlled here, but not particularly dangerous. But for active aggressive disruptive hits, the Starfall Pro is better (and also more dangerous) than the Thorn Shine and also better than almost all other long pimples.

Due to the high insensitivity to incoming rotation, almost all of the opponent's balls can be attacked effortlessly. In contrast to other rubbers, the ox version of the Sternenfall is ideal for a more aggressive style of play. The ball flight curve is flat and rather long with this rubber.

The underspin defense also comes flat and dangerous. In contrast to the old version, the Pro version can be played a little more effectively.

The Sternenfall Pro is the right choice for pimple players who are looking for a really fast, easy-to-play pimple with a hard ball attack for an active disruptive game.

The penetrating power is significantly higher than with slower and softer long pimples (such as the Radiant Power or the Thorn Shine III) and thus also the disruptive effect.

In the version with sponge, the sponge is now much slower than the old version. In contrast to the ox version, the Pro version is 1.0 mm slower than the old 1.0 mm version! The slower sponge provides more control without reducing the disruptive effect

Overall, the Starfall Pro can offer a very attractive balance of speed, control, and disruptive effect. If passive block balls only play a subordinate role in your own game system, this rubber could be the right choice.

While the Sternenfall is particularly suitable for players from the lower and middle leagues, the Sternenfall Pro can also be played effectively in higher leagues without losing its suitability for those switching from pimple-in rubbers.

I play the Sternenfall Pro (ox) on a Sanwei Parla. The Sternenfall Pro is largely insensitive to incoming spin and is a bit on the hard side for a long pimples rubber. The feel is very direct with good linearity in terms of speed, and you can go for a lot of balls with a pretty fast and flat attack (some say it´s even reminiscent of the attacking potential of short pimple rubbers). But it offers of course everything else long pimple rubbers are good for as well - including a healthy dose of spin reversal and disruptive play. All of this is combined with a very solid level of control, which makes it an relatively easy to play with LP rubber.

This is the new and a little improved version of the non pro version. That one will not be made anymore. I have tried a few LP. My thoughts look different than the numbers and review off the other one. But I found it rather slow on blocking, and also spin reversal with normal block is almost nothing. They can just keep attacking. But if you make more off a block motion it's better in reversal. I use it for attacking. It feels like it's gripping when you attack the backspin balls. And with attacking I dont mean a fast push, but hard attack. You have to be close to the table, prefered above and it's awesome for that. I use it on a spinlord First Strike II frame. I wish it was a bit quicker. But D.tecs is to fast for me allthough I tried that on a faster carbon blade. Maybe use it on a faster blade like koki niwa wood.
