Very fast but quite accurate, good for placement at speed. Not very good for passive play but excellent for over the table backhand attack. Active blocks off the bounce as well as flicks are its forte.

Way too fast for what I'm used to. The ball shoots of my blade and doesn't seem to dip down at all. Therefore, I missed too many shots whereas with the Waran 1 I did not have this issue. Additionally, the hard sponge made it harder for me to lift backspin balls.
Update: This beast just needed to be tamed. Now I appreciate the hard sponge. It makes the Waran II very reliable, consistent and linear, where softer sponged pips tend to be way harder to control. This is now my favorite short pip by far.
