This is a great pips out rubber by Stiga. The point of playing with pips is to improve control when dealing with incoming spin. It is easier to return a spinny service or loop with this rubber compared to grippy inverted rubber because it is not as sensitive. Attacking is most effective from close range as the ball rises. If you want to wait longer before hitting the ball or go far table then you are better off using an inverted rubber that can arc the ball better. The arc is low and the kick after the ball hits the table is mild. The spin is there, but nowhere near a good inverted rubber, but that's by design. The focus here is spin variation and ball placement with good speed.

This is a sheet that will win you games. Gioulang the only China player to win the treble and now the coach used it on the FH of his penholder setup. I can ,"ghost serve", BOO:- maybe this is because of my excellent excection of this serve but I can topspin it with a similar serve or corkscrew spin-this is not the spinniest pips out but is in the top 3 in the world (I have tried). I have never tried Gambler.............etc as I live in Western Europe. Its Advertisement and Marketing is its juggernaut-but remember those olympic players get the equipment gratis-(for free).
