A guy at my club sold me a sheet of this and said "it's the best short pips for penhold." Well... it's just okay. After all the equipment changes (glue ban and 40+ ball) it's not really viable anymore. But I can understand why Yasaka still makes it. It has good playing characteristics except for speed. I think it might work well for a short pips chopper or someone who plays a passive blocking game. Sponge is super soft. Maybe with glue it would be more fun.

A good hitting pips able to create slightly more spin than TSP Spectol but not quite as fast. The medium sponge and thicker topsheet seem to work better speedglued. Toshio Tasaki's choice as one of the hardest pehnhold hitters ever.
