I played with 2mm black on BH,and 2mm red on FH.Blade was butterfly balsa carbo X3.My FH shots went little bit over table-because I didn`t played with this combination but BH over the table and middle distance was perfect-I was so suprised because this ruber is so cheap but perfect for my BH.I am useing sriver fx for BH but after I tried this rubber- friendhsip faster 1 is definetly my choice.Good for push and over table attack-I finally founded rubber for my BH!!!

I wasn't impressed compared to some of 729's other offensive options. It has enough tack to provide good serves and close to the table spin but the sponge isn't as soft as I would have hoped for a german sponge. It was still to hard to generate any real loops and lacked the pace of many of 729's harder sponges. It's control is mediocre as one might expect and the throw angle (high) drove me crazy. This rubber falls somewhere in between a classic chinese and a classic german, and as a result falls short of both types in the important categories.

I've been using it on my bh for the last 5 months! It's great for looping , chopping and serves. will be staying with this one for a while.

I bought this rubber over a year ago, while searching for my "game style." At the time, I didn't believe it to fit my then style due to its weight and hardness. Now I have dug it out of the drawer and given it another go. This rubber has pretty good speed and nice spin also with a Chinese style brush contact loop. This rubber is being used as bh, so it loops, serves and pushes very well. Due to its truly tacky topsheet, you must over compensate for incoming opponents spin and its going to take me a little more time to master counterlooping with this. I flipped the paddle over for a short time to counter hit and loop from close and mid-distance. Surprisingly, it played very similar to my Tenergy 05. The major differences were the medium throw angle instead of Ten05's high throw and 729 Faster doesn't have as many gears as Ten05. That being said, the 729's $14 rubber performed just as well in the spin and speed category and I didn't even have to change my stroke. I am going to continue to use this rubber on my backhand.
