Friendship/729 Focus 3 Plus

Japanese sponge with so much control. Every ball goes to your opponent side. it is also very beginner friendly as well. On faster blades it can be a backhand weapon as well if you are looking for spin&control. arc: low, medium high, high, as you want, very much doing what you want. it is also light, compared other popular rubbers.

UPDATE 04/24/2019 - Still using as BH rubber. But noticed that the sponge is almost dead and requires me to play complete strokes. Due to this fact, it has gotten better in near to the net pushes UPDATE 12/31/18 - I've stopped using this rubber on my FH as it feels much easier generating spin on the ball from BH strokes/flicks, and able to place the ball where I wanted. BH blocking seems effortless comparing to the forehand. You can compare this rubber to 729-05; similar tackiness, similar bounce with less weight on the rubber though. 12/24/18 - I've finally tried the RED Soft version of Focus3 plus and played about 2 hrs on my FH today, on DHS H301. The rubber for some reason feels slightly tacky. It doesn't feel live and bouncy, needs effort for commanding effective spin in the loops. Serves are much better comparing to Palio AK47 RED (which had been my forehand rubber for months till now). Blocking needs angle adjustment as most of my blocks were hitting the net. It might need some more time to break in I guess.

2025.06.04: Perfect on backhand (Buttefly ZJ) using 2 layers high viscosity DHS NO 15 glue makes my play effortless. It needs 2-3 training sessions to break in. Serves are efforless and deadly, the ball goes exatly where you want it even in long rallies both close and far from the table.
