Fitting the Higher 3 sponge specially designed for professional table tennis backhand players and the latest HIGHER rubber with high elasticity and high intensity, it makes the ball driving speedy, spinning and diverse in lines. The firm and gentle ball driving style suits the high speed and power requirements the backhand players have for middle-table and distance-table so as to adequately make up for the weakness of backhand players.

I have used this rubber on my backhand for half a year now and I have to say that the quality of the shots are extremely inconsistent due to the low throw angle alongside the medium hard sponge. It does not lift backspin well on an offensive flick (fairly closed bat angle) and is not very consistent when the angle has been opened, it results in either the ball going off the table or just about staying on. Pure spin shots are quite easy to achieve over the table but both power and spin is relatively impossible to get on. Pushes are good and can be kept close to the net. The first shot, mid range, to the table feels very controlled and stable with good power and spin but after the initial shot counter topspins are very hard to do and require high effort to do this. The amount of effort needed is not suitable for a BH (quick recovery). Looping feels easy to do. I felt like the rubber is more suited far from the table because the amount of power needed to do a shot will get the ball on the table unlike being close and it flying off. In conclusion: pure spin shots are great, power and spin is hard to control close and over the table but is good far from the table. This rubber is amazing at blocking! I don't recommend this rubber to 3rd ball attackers or offensive players in general but to people that are an all-round player that likes to spin the ball and move their opponent.

I have used this rubber twice on two different blades and it has been a great rubber. very good control and good speed and they last a long time.

A good racket for backhand players, great control, proper speed, soft handling.

Higher III Japanese sponge version is slower and heavier and the sponge seems about two degrees more firm than the Transcend version. Not bad for serving but if you're used to an ultra tacky topsheet this is not it. I am happy with the overall quality of this rubber.

Faster and spinnier than the other rubbers I tried (Sriver FX, 729 lightening super fx, sky wing) so it's hard to control. Maybe I should have gone with a thinner sponge, say 2.0mm. Excellent for looping if you have good technique. It's actually quite durable compared to other Chinese rubbers.
