Very hard rubber, sound like wood. May be i got hard version, but - other my 50 rubber are softer. Don't like it.

This rubber is the Dawei 388 A4 on a German Navigator GT sponge. Great for BH as I have it in BLK on a 38 degree sponge in 2.0mm on a Dawei GTO OFF Arlayte Carbon blade. Perfoms well in all aspects of my game from at the table chopping blocking and hitting. I am a mid distance player who hits loops on both wings and this rubber certainly suits my style of play. I can produce a fair amount of spin in chops and when looping but I feel it lacks some grip to be a FH rubber especially if your loop violently from distance. For flat hitting it certainly has the power to win points. A great buy at under £5.50 of ebay. One worth trying, no regrets and will be buying more in the future in the 1.8mm version.

This is a follow up review after using this rubber for a month. The initial tackiness has left (even with plastic covering always) and it can no longer pick up a ball. I noticed the loss of tackiness with my serves as they became less spinny and harder to keep short. Throw has decreased and the speed has gone up. I wish the sponge was just a little softer now but it still feels lively with a decent click. Morphed from a chinese rubber to more of a euro rubber. I have read it is comparable to dawei 2008 but have not had the chance to test.

This is a tacky rubber with a very high throw. Much higher throw than DHS Skyline TG3 with less tackiness. Spin generation is very good and the sponge is very lively typical of Dawei. The sponge is probably responsible for the throw angle. Nice clicky sound with good speed but not the easiest to control. It is a heavier rubber so you want to pair it up with something light.
