Black is powerful. "Made in China"
The very grippy top surface of the DONIC Akkadi TAICHI ensures maximum spin and rotation to a level never before experienced. This is the reason why so many of the world's top ranked Asian players play with this black rubber on the forehand. Due to its special black sponge the black Akkadi TAICHI is a bit harder and stiffer than the red version.
The red Akkadi TAICHI is more elastic and, thanks to its Japanese sponge, produces an even better bounce of the ball. The black version is especially recommended for the forehand. It creates possibilities never dreamt of when serving to open the game and to produce the first top spin in the rally.

Randomly got this because it was ~$10 on eacheng (also on aliexpress), and put it on a Yasaka Sweden classic (~ALL wood blade). It feels like the perfect rubber on the backhand there. I've tried several other ~$10 rubbers, and this is definitely one of the best (even a bit better IMO than Focus 3 Snipe on a slower blade, which is the main competition in that price range). I've since put it on a carbon blade backhand, and a Galaxy N-9 that I set up for a friend. It just seems to be a good fit everywhere; very predictable and consistent. E: It seems that the supply of $10 sheets has dried up. Still a great rubber, and still affordable, but no longer a superbudget allstar.

The rating here is ridiculous! Me and my friend put this in an all wood non-popular brand blade because we buy it around 10$ so we think it is just a beginner/basic rubber of donic. The blade we use is medium hard and my first impression about the rubber is medium hard also because the sponge feels hard when you press. But when I put the rubber on the blade and use it in back hand, all I can say is DAMN SO GOOD! It feels medium when hitting the ball. It has a good dwell time and I can feel the ball stays in my rubber before flick it back to my opponent. By the way, we are using poly ball and take note it is spinny!!! And the best part of using it is the flick!! I can confidently and surely flick every service of the opponent!! It is fast, not very fast but it is fast enough to put the opponent in difficult situation. I rate the speed 8.9 to 9 out 10, and both spin and control 9.2 to 9.3 rating. This is 2nd to the best backhand rubber that I've used, next to my Tenergy 64 as my best. Try this and you will not regret it!

I find red 1.5 mm Donic Akkadi Taichi the perfect rubber in combination with long pimple rubber for aggressive allround combi bat players. It is extremely spinny, has very good control and is fast enough for effective flat kills. Excellent for spin serves and blocking and it lasts longer than your average tacky rubber. It is also reasonably priced.

la gomma rossa e' molto elastica con una buona velocita' e tanto spin controllo decente, l'unico problema e' la gommapiuma un po' difficile. gomma allround....
