Safer play, not necessarily faster play. The DONIC QUATTRO with FAKTIS Technology.
It is old hat to produce control rubbers from soft sponge. We were no longer satisfied with that. A soft sponge also requires a soft top surface to achieve harmony between the top surface and the sponge. Our experts therefore developed "FAKTIS", a technology for the top surface of control rubbers. FAKTIS top surface rubbers are as soft as control sponges. A fiendish construction of soft rubber and highly elastic synthetic rubber.
FAKTIS has achieved a harmony between both of rubber. DONIC Quattro gives the player the means to play any type of stroke. The rubber responds to his wishes, enabling him to develop quick topspins, to counter attack and to block with a control rubber.
Play will be more consistent, even though it is quicker. DONIC QUATTRO is a WINNER!

this is a decent rubber when starting out, but it wears out extremely quickly. when i got this rubber, i was playing about twice a week, and it wore out after about 2 months even though i was taking good care of it. bottom line: good for beginners, average all-round
