I use this rubber as my forhand and a sriver L as my backhand. Karate Soft is a head and shoulder above sriver L. speed is very good and totally under your control.Tackiness is more than sriver L as I rated above 4.5 and control is great! very good for off and off+ player like me as a penhold grip player. And the strange and odd part is that why such a great rubber is so cheap! only 10 US dollar in my country! Thanks Giant Dragon!

Excellent ratio quality/cost. It's a med-hard rubber, very good spin, good control, speed: medium. Good spin but not tacky at all. Good for beginners and player who plays close to the table. I played with short pimples for a lot of years and my team mates said: "your backhand stroke it's like a non inverted rubber! Leave short pimples now!". Well, in my opinion GD Karate Soft it's a good rubber if you want to leave the "dark side of table tennis". It's the best rubber to play with if you hit the ball like you did with short pimples (any problem) and you want to play lopping. I did it and in two months I change my BH stroke from a Short pimple to a non inverted rubber stroke (hitting to looping) . Only 15¬!

I play with Karate Soft without having it changed already 8 months and i would say that the rubber is very good for its price. Speed is very good, it plays good on my forehand and last for long time.
