No need for speed glue. Speed glue used to help many table tennis players become the world champions, but for future players this is history. The new rules need new technologies and solutions. Giant Dragon's newly developed Durable Tension will be your choice.

Durable Tension technology means that rubber undergoes special compression treatment for both durability and flexibility, using a special technique that fills and enlarges the pores of the sponge.

The special treatment of the rubber's surface allows the rubber to better grip and throw the ball.

The specially developed sponge, with improved internal enenrgy technology generates better elasticity and rebound effect.

Bought it in a promotion for around 10E, Black, Max. Tested as Forehand on a Darker 7P-2A, an OFF allwood Hinoki. Surprisingly good in the soft touch near net, "banana's"/flicks and blocks. Good for slow topspin, spin heavy chopp or attack 1st service with underspin. Good for chopp. Medium for service effects. Overall, good to play near table, lacks some strengh to play far except for underspin. For the price, I was trully surprised how easy is to play, with good control and enabling an offensive style. After few days, rubber fringe started to unglue of foam, but with some patience I protected it with normal water glue around the edge and became OK untill today. It works so well with the Hinoki blade that I didn't try on others, Im happy with the combination to play against someone with pips. UPDATE: one month later, lost some of the tack/glue. However, still plays well and the feeling is similar to a hybrid rubber (half asian, half european). Still playing with her against pips.

Medium-soft sponge, takes an hour or so of play to bed in, like most chinese sponges. Plays a lot more like a European sponge. Guessing hardness is somewhere in 34-38 range. Plenty of spin and control pretty good for a fast rubber with medium-soft sponge. One of mine bubbled in the centre (rubber separating from sponge) after about 10-15 hours play, seemingly just due to wear. My ratings: Speed: 8.5; Spin: 9.0; Control: 8.5 Tackiness: Medium tacky; Throw Angle: Medium Weight: Average; Sponge Harness: Medium; Gear: Above average gears Durability: Not very durable; Consistency: Occasional variations Overall: 8.2
