Whale unturned seem dead at first. After playing a month, heavy looping became easy and powerful.

Review for BWI at max, plain plastic vacuum wrap (training pack). This is my first time playing with Haifu rubber. I got it from Eacheng Whale 1 (think it is a training version). Sheet was only vacuumed in transparent plastic, but it was factory tuned. Physical: Somewhat tacky rubber, nothing like DHS tackiness but noticeable. It won€™t pick up the ball for more than a split of a second. Rubber has a very thick top sheet with orange sponge. Pips are short, very short tbh but top of the sheet is at least 1,5 mm thick. One of the thickest I have seen. Sponge has some pores but nothing like Tenergy and it has super glossy tuning on it. Never seen shinier glue on pre tuned rubber, like a hockey field for ants. Top sheet also looks like a mixture of Galaxy Moon and H3 (grip + tack) Speed: Would like to do the comparison with H3 in terms of speed. H3 is less bouncy, not by much but less bouncy. There is a mild difference in a short game speed (probably only preference) but the true difference lies in a mid-distance. For some reason it is much easier to produce speed with BW1 on shots coming from 1-2 meters away. Top speed is about the same both are super-fast if you are accustomed to those kinds of rubber (some people will find it slow from distance) Spin: The best spin, at least for my game, was from mid distance with some power in the stroke. Must say that it was probably better then H3 spin for those shots because sponge was easier to engage. Spin on serves, harder loops, short game was like any other good rubber. Other: Throw angel is on a higher side, so rubber is very good for off the table game. Sponge overall is lot easier to use then DHS neo sponge. I expected control to be on a low side but was pleasantly surprised in that department. It was very easy to maintain control in FH to FH relies. Recommendation: To all the player who like harder Chinese rubbers on FH and like to swing. Enjoy TT+life, have fun.

sehr gut für topspin auch sehr sicher und preziese blocken . wenn man mal hinter den tisch gerät kann man problemlos aus der halbdistanz ziehen und sich wieder in tischnähe orientieren

My forehand rubber. If you are looking for a medium sponge with speed and tackiness, well, this is the rubber for you. It is perfect for on-the-top counter-spins, power loops, and killer third-ball topspins. The advantage of an enhanced Chinese rubber - other than it's superb control and reliability in making the ball stick to the rubber - is that it retains the spin after the bounce, leaving the blocker at your mercy as the ball rises the more they block it.
