I bought it after reading reviews that said it would become 09c if boosted.
The results were terrible, only slightly better than the Kirin K3.
I applied sea moon2 three times, but it added no speed and the amount of spin was low.
Control was better and it was easier to hit counter drives.
I think this product is overrated.
So its one of the best rubbers I ever tried in all price ranges AFTER triple boosting it with Haifu Seamoon Yellow booster.
I use Dignics 09c normally and this is faster. more spinny. less throw angle. Easier to learn to play with.
dignics 09c will have better blocks. and if your skilled it has more subtle nuances and better control if you are a GOOD player. if im lazy.... GTX will forgive you. If I feel in top shape that day 09c will offer dimensions you wont find in GTX.
But GTX is better than ANY ESN rubber I ever tried. Also better than any chinese rubber I tried.
Ok, this rubber is strange to review. Without booster: this rubber is a complete failure. It has extremely low dwell time, a very strange feeling, and no control at all.
You must boost this rubber with both baby oil AND Chinese oil booster. I have tried this with only booster, and it dramatically improves the speed and power, but still with no control. If you apply just a little baby oil, the dwell time dramatically changes and becomes a control and power and spin monster. This rubber serves the same function and style as Dignics 09c but it generally surpasses D09c in power and especially control. You get the sensation that you can swing harder and harder without ever missing. The ball just seems to land into the table. I highly recommend this rubber for your FH, but even bh. There is sooo much power, spin, and especially control.
With the right treatment and setup, this is seriously a MONSTER of a rubber. I really hope more people try it.
Loki GTX Pro. A very good top high end rubber for the professional player, the modern table tennis. Developed with Wang Hao. The blue sponge is top quality. GTX pro rubber from new brand Loki Sport collection and I am very satisfied. Price much less than comparative high end: Tenergy 05, T05H ( hard ), Victas 15, Victas 15 extra, Rakza Z extra hard, MXP, Bluefire and all the others but the GTX Pro at least same level ( or even better prestanda, performence ). The blue sponge is top notch, great, last long. I get speed and kick also from distance, moore control than T05 to mucj kick, I got moore speed and kick than Hurricane Neo 3, DHS H Neo3 is little to hard, stiff, litte to high og high density sponge for me, GTX Pro better, GTX pro - Victas 15 extra also the same Victas little to hard, stiff - to much density, Tenergy 05 opposite to soft sponge - to much catapult - loss of control. Loki GTX Pro good control is the perfect combination peerfect with the new ball. I got good spin in the serves ( close but not as H Neo3 ), I got the softness, liitle litte of kick & catapult effect, dynamic with GTX pro than others. I got speed also the "heavness controll" of hard sponge/china like sponge and little KICK that I want so much! You can boost GTX pro or play without. I would say this is one of the absolute top hig end backside on the market today. I use GTX pro black with blue sponge on FH. They write 49 hardness GTX Pro and Victas 15 extra - 47,5 hardness. I would say GTX pro around the same level hardness but GTX Pro even 49 got little moore dynamic, moore kick than Victas 15 extra and other hard sponge high end rubbers. GTX pro is ok also without boost thansk to the good sponge control returns. I have also tried Loki Arthur Europe very good rubber bh but I prefer GTX pro on fh. I would rank this rubber highest of every backside high end rubbers i have tried.
Stickier than dignics09c. Longer breakin time, boosting required. Speed similar to d09c, great for backhand punch, loop, counter loop. Block is okay, better to counter, requires effort to block because its fairly sticky. 18 usd on aliexpress. Easy yes, as with all rubber it gets faster and softer, but no where to the level of d09c to the point where you have to replace it. Works for yasaka ai resonate blade.
Edit: Been using this for a 3 months now. This rubber does get better with time. I boosted 2 thin layers of haifu black and have not boosted again. It's incredible and I think it's better than Dignic 09c, because 09c will start shooting off the table after 2 months. Gtx Pro is still controlled and gets a bit of speed. I use this as my backhand rubber. Its a harder rubber, does not bottom out like dhs 8-80 38 or loki rxton 7 37 degrees, which is awesome. You can do a high arc spinny backhand and also drive it with this rubber. The weight is higher, but I prefer it. Would recommend this one to replace 09c. I'm scarred loki might be replacing it.
