The RXTON 3Pro rubber uses medium hard cake sponge, which has undergone precise pre expansion treatment. The shell has excellent bottom strength, greatly expanding the killing power of hitting the ball.
The latest developed sticky rubber provides huge hitting flexibility, with abundant topspin power, bringing a diving style double jump. Paired with a fiber blade, you can better appreciate the rotational essence of the RXTON 3PRO.
Wonderful for counter loop and attack. Not the most complete rubber, but addictive. Black only indicates FH use, but for me it stands out even more on BH. 47 g cut.
Update after 3 weeks: I underestimated this rubber on FH. It takes my unforced errors down to half, at least. I overshoot less and it’s really controlled when returning serves, so I can focus more on other aspects. Still it has quite a lot of gears, and with a good swing I can still get good spin and ok speed.
Black rubber, blue sponge, 2.1mm (Max), 40 degree sponge hardness, sticky.
Excellent rubber for an excellent price! Use this on forehand. Great loops. Good blocking. Nice flat hits. Quite good for short play as well. Rather easy to keep the ball on the table.
I previously used Xiom Vega Europe/Pro and Xiom Omega Pro (with Primorac 5-ply blade) - this rubber is quite similar and half the price.
I have tested the rxton 3 pro max in black with over 10 different offensive blades. Very good overall rubber, its NEGH1 cake sponge is perfect with carbon blades. Too bad it comes only in black and does not exist in red! What is your setup for red : rxton 3 max to remain consistent with NEGH1 cake sponge ?
Now completed! This rubber (only available in black!!!) is available on Aliexpress for as little as ten euros. According to the manufacturer, it has a 40 degree hard sponge (- Chinese hardness!) with a thickness of 2.1 mm. The rather soft top rubber is slightly sticky and can hold the ball for a short moment. The weight of my rubber in its original packaging was 85 grams, uncut it was 62 grams. On my blade, which measures 157 x 150 mm, it weighs 46 grams.
After I had only briefly tried this rubber (Nov. 24) on my Huison ZLC, I put it away again because it didn't exactly "seem to be a high-flyer!!!" Since the rubber felt considerably softer to me (- like 42.5 degrees int. level), I measured it with my Shore meter. With extreme effort, I could only measure a hardness of 33 (!!!) degrees. - that would be even less than it felt!!! I bought this rubber as a "CHOICE" offer (- these special offers come from the AliExpress central warehouse!!!) and unfortunately I have often experienced that items from there did not correspond to the information provided by the seller. ... unfortunately I can't rule that out here either.
Yesterday I saw a YouTube video about this rubber that made me curious (again). So I will soon be testing and evaluating this rubber more extensively.
The rubber isn’t anything special without booster, just more control and faster than regular Chinese rubbers. However, once boosted (2 layers of Haifu), it really “opens up” and becomes very good. Excellent control, faster than standard Chinese rubbers, and the spin is also really strong.
Don’t expect a “tensor” effect, but it’s truly a very good Hybrid rubber. For comparison, I found it (boosted) much more controlled on short and long game, a bit faster, and considerably easier to play with than the boosted Big Dipper 39.
