Nittaku Magic Carbon gives maximum control for the offensive player! Has an excellent balance of spin and speed. Great for the offensive player who wants to be the one in control, placing even the fastest shots with great touch.

After a decade of nonplaying, i have recently started again with TT. I play MC on both sides (FH black 1,8/ BH red 1,4) on a Donic Appelgren Allplay. I am playing up to 8 h per week. With this rubber you can earn massive improvement of your skills. Above all when youre an offensive player and weapon of choice is FH and BH topsin. You are forced to correct topsin movement. If you a correct and fast the rubber gives you gear and sound as feedback. Perfect training tool for this. Chopping and cutting is very easy but nothing dangerous. Shortplay is real fun with this rubber. Perfect control!! Spongefeeling is more soft then hard. Buy a hard spongerubber like sriver s for an other blade so you can check out for your future what you will prefer. So i would strongly recommend this Nitttaku rubber as a first rubber for the first months of starting. You will learn right topspin technique and the shortplay and serve. For far distance play especially far distance deep chopping you can forget MC. Flipping is also difficult..

Review is based on the 1.9mm black version. Classic rubber, made in Japan. I used this rubber when I took table tennis more seriously. My skills have improved due to this rubber because it has good consistency and decent speed for developing techniques. Suitable for close to and mid distance from the table. Recommended for developing the forehand.

Classic Rubber by Nittaku. I experimented with these rubber Due to the fact that it was use by former Swedish player and because of Its affordable price. Php 1,350 pesos. Its about $35. Since I'am using an all wood off - blade. I achieved a different level of Control on my forehand loops and blocks. This rubber is an all around but can be an offensive rubber. A soft to medium rubber. In addition to, I used magic carbon to my Sardius blade as forehand rubber and it works amazingly great. Topsheet. A Decent speed and spin. This is a beginner to intermediate level but can also use as an advance player pair with stiff/hard offensive plus and you will have a weapon in your hands. Recommend these rubber to one of my club member and he likes it. He uses a primorac off- wood bat. I glue this rubber with a bit of mix of speed glue and works for me. bought 2 pcs. for reserve.

This is the rubber I learned to play with. It was the perfect starter rubber for me. I improved very quickly, and this rubber kept on giving as I kept getting better. I get frustrated when Nittaku doesn't figure out how to continue to use some of it's better past topsheets and just improve their sponges to keep up with the times. The Magic Carbon, and the Reforma topsheets are great rubbers. They just need sponge/tension updates to keep up with the game.
