This is a very nice classic rubber. I choose this rubber because of the reviews. I was looking for something between beginners an intermedia, and the reviews were not wrong. This is a quality rubber, grippy, with high control, and not too fast. Compared to the Xushaofa rubber that I used many many years ago, It has a little more control, is a little faster, and with same amount of spin. The Xushaofa has a very sticky surface, and the Micro is grippy enough to put the same amount of spin in my service. High consistency, which is appreciated for a [2nd time] beginner (I stopped playing more than 20 years ago!!). Perfect for close/mid looping, serve, and the shortplay. It does not excel in anything, but it does everything very well. In the past, I used different 'beginners' rubbers (Schildkrot-Donic, DHS, Butterfly, Xushaofa) and I can say this is a very high quality rubber for beginners. I am improving a lot in a short period of time. I paired it with a OFF- blade and the combination is very nice. Control, spin, and enough speed for the winner point. If you want to start learning in the best way, or you want to perfect your technique, you can not find a better rubber than the Micro (don't waste your money in a more expensive ruberr!!).

Its a good rubber, especially for beginners and intermediate players who need to learn/improve moviments with a nice product and do not spend a lot of money. Fits better in the backhand, for sure. The surface is not very tacky, so its easy to receive serves and play short game. Its a soft rubber with light weight, so if you are having problems with heavy blades (especially if you are a reverse penholder like me), its a good choice!
