TSP Super Ventus

Tested on DHS H301 in MAX sponge. Well balanced modern offensive rubber. Medium hard sponge is great for more experienced players but this rubber is great in all aspects - speed, spin and control (more on side of speed and spin). Opening loops are easy and harder strokes can be played while keeping good control. Catapult effect is enjoyable without any bigger kicks, even in short game. Recommend to try!

Very good rubber from TSP. This rubber is good for looping, touch play and blocking. Opening the backspin ball is very easy in this rubber. All round rubber, yet another good product from TSP.

Very nice rubber. Gives good spin and is usable for fast returns. Can quickly take over spins from opponents without extra effort. Has still a lot of control. Best suited for the offensive player. It's the rubber that drove my forehand from low immigrate level to high immigrate-advance. I put it on a DHS hurricane 301 blade, on max size. I wish i had chosen the 2.0 mm version. What first surprised me was the amount of spin (it's not a tacky rubber) and the huge control considering it's a fast rubber. You don't find this control on fast rubbers. I think it's true when they say that it has the best parts of the rest Ventus series rubbers. Grip is very good, topspin against backspin is not difficult, playing short game is very good, consistent looping. I believe it's one of the most balanced offensive rubber on the market at the moment. Durability: After about 4-5 months, about 15 hours a week, 25% of spin and 20% of speed is lost. Some days ago I took it of and put a thin layer of glue and then one layer of Falco normal (not long) booster. It curved a little bit and after about 16 hours i put 2 more thin layers of glue and i had an amazing result. It plays a bit better than new. I played against a good long pips player and after a while he asked me what rubber i use on forehand. He was impressed, but now and my skills have improved. The only negative i find is a bit heavy but not much and i would like it a little bit more tacky when blocking. Conclusion, if you are an immigrate-advance player, make yourself a favor and try it. I had this rubber on my Joola Vyzaryz Freeze (fairly soft & flex outerlayer AL-C, limba top layer) on the Fh at first. Enjoyed the speed and spin but struggled a big in the short game, and I felt there would be another rubber with more potential spin wise. Then I decided to try on the backhand and what should I say...I didn´t regret at all! This is my new BH rubber and it will stay for a long time! Coming from a Rhyzm-P on my BH, the harder sponge really made the difference. Great springey and direct feeling (I don´t have to "guide" the ball with a longer dwell time), perfect for short strokes for powerfull shots (low arc - very unpleasant for opponent) in BH - BH rallies and nice placement variation. Also very great blocking control! A bit further away from the table, but only with very efficient BH loop movement I can deliver deadly energy loaded topspin shots where blocks repeatedly failed! But for this shot, timing when hitting the ball becomes so crucial. Otherwise -> either net or behind table...So advanced technique is necessary. Low arc and direct feeling provide for great banana flicks. Springey sponge comes into play when opponent hat trickey short serve placement, and I position myself just in time, but with not enough time for full banana stroke. Yet with good timing feeling powerful, low, medium spin balls are possible. BH opening against backspin is for me the best part. low arc, high spin. Just yummy. So this is really a great BH rubber for me...
